September 2026: SimpleBackups Integration
Yulei ChenOur new SimpleBackups integration is live. You can now use Sliplane Object Storage as the destination for your backups, or back up databases and buckets hosted on Sliplane to another storage provider.
Store Your Backups on Sliplane
Connect a Sliplane bucket to SimpleBackups once, then select it as the destination for any supported server, database, file, storage, or application backup.
You manage the schedule and retention in SimpleBackups, while the backup files land in Sliplane Object Storage. There are no egress or per-request fees, so downloading a backup or running a restore test doesn't add bandwidth costs.
Back Up Data Hosted on Sliplane
The integration works in the other direction too. SimpleBackups can back up a PostgreSQL database running on Sliplane to any supported destination. It can also replicate a Sliplane bucket to another provider or another Sliplane bucket on a schedule.
